R onto DMV office and Park - Make sure you do not do critical errors as a single critical error will fail
- 14 normal errors are permitted
- While making turns make sure you see in the main mirror and then the side mirror and check Blind spot -
your examiner will always be making a note of it - Even for making a right turn make sure you check your mirrors, if its a red do make a complete stop. In case of signal being green make the turn with a speed that you have control.
- Always cross one lane at a a time with a 3-4 sec signalling.
- Make sure you maintain speed limits, NOTE whenever speed limit is not mentioned its mostly the 25MPH zone.
- Its advised to be always 2/3 miles greater than speed limit, below speed limit is considered blocking the traffic and might be a reason for failing the driving test
- Always STOP at the stop sign and be behind the white line as this is a critical error
- Keep good distance from the pedestrians/bikers/cyclists
- If door of another car is open on your way or someone else is coming out - be prepare to keep more than 4 feet of distance, otherwise you will make a critical error and fail
- If the examiner is not saying anything it might be that the way is one way and you may see that arrow sign too later :-)
- While Parking/crossing right lanes make sure you do not touch the curb.
One of my friend also recommended this : http://www.bobsaid.com/dmv/btw_test/index.htm
it seems to have very comprehensive list of dos and donts based on the situation.

Very useful information for those who are going to attend dmv behind the wheel test
Well said, the toughest part of passing the dmv behind the wheel test is to get issued with a driver’s license.
